I’ve painted a few trees in my life so far. It’s about five now, with this new one! I was staring at this giant wall, wondering what I was going to do with it, when it dawned on me. Of course I should paint a tree! But this time, let’s make it look like little creatures might live there.
It took me about 7 hours to complete. Five hours the first day (straight) and then two hours the next day finishing up and cleaning up all my drips. It was so fun and challenging to try to paint it as fast as I did and it turned out to be one of my favorite paintings to date.
