Just thought I’d take a moment to catalog one of my favorite projects I got to work on while I was doing graphic apparel. I worked closely with the art directors and product development to move forward the development of specialty blanks. I assisted in picking the Pantone colors for the collection, mock up several different fabric types and colors on different blanks. I put together a comprehensive book of fabrication types for the sales team, helped organize the samples as they arrived from different factories and got them, and communicated with the art directors and creative director to get samples approved. It was a stressful and addictive whirlwind project!
