The Sketch Phase!
My friend Irenie and I did an art trade recently. One jolly roger for her son, Jack for anything she would like to make for me in exchange! She decided to make me a marvelous beaded necklace. Even when it comes to favors, I like to still give people the full design experience.
So the first thing I did was look up the anime she wanted me to design in the likeness of, One Piece. I left that tab open while I looked at jackalopes while I sketched these little guys. We went through a couple versions exploring two of these little cuties, and made our way to the final version below. She plans to make them into stickers for party favors!
